I'm listening to Dave Fanning's latest show on Radio 1 online and to your interview and decided to check your blog. <BR/><BR/>I'm married and happy with my marriage, but I have a 40 y.o. who is single and looking for a relationship, so I recommended her your website.<BR/><BR/>As to Age Gaps, my husband is 13 years older than me. We notice many people looking at us due to our age difference as not only he's a bit older than me, I am also look a bit younger than I really am (according to friends and even my husband). Anyway, older people look at us with disgust, but men around my husband's age look hopeful when they see us.<BR/><BR/>My husband is fit and agile, both physically and mentally speaking, even more agile than me, I think. I believe that if the older parter is young at heart it's fine. <BR/><BR/>Having said that I know 3 women: 1 in her late 60s, 1 who who is 40 and 1 who is in her middle 30s and they all had difficulties that were related to age gap. The 2 older ones are now separated.<BR/><BR/>Therefore, I encourage women to give older men a chance and advise women who like yonger men to think twice about getting married to a young man. <BR/><BR/>Finally, I highly recommend Welshmen. They are very sweet. I'm not saying Irishmen aren't, but sweetness is not what they're famous for, at least not in my opinion. But, I can honestly say I cannot imagine being in a relationship with a guy who was 20! <BR/>Yes, it would be flattering to attract the attention of a guy 10 yrs younger than me, I will not deny that. I am young at heart.....but a 20 yr old guy......without trying to stir up trouble the fact is I dont think men mature as quickly as women and therein lies the problem! <BR/>I just couldn't see it working for me and a guy 10 yrs younger, whereas it wouldn't be an issue dating a guy 10 yrs older. A 5-10 year age gap is ok - but does this mean the man should be 5-10 years older than the woman or the other way round?<BR/><BR/>I read somewhere that on most dating sites regardless of age men of all ages automatically go to the profiles of women aged 18-25 and take it from there. This means that they probably try to get dates with the younger women first and if they don't succeed they then try older women.
