Well i have been exchanging txts and e-mails with somebody for a while now,, but due to family commitments as yet we havent met.....which i may add is fun..great to feel like a teenager again lol

Amazed at the amount of blokes who dont have anything written in their profile blurb. If they havent said anything about themselves, what are you supposed to think about them, nothing? its like going for a job and sitting mutely in the interview. or submitting a cv with just your name and blank page. We regret to inform you that your application was unsuccessful at this time. However we will retain your application on file (under b for bin)and inform you should any suitable vacancies arise (theres an opening for a long walk off a short pier if you're interested)! I think I must agree with you, if you didnt want to meet somebody you wouldn't be mesaaging them. SO people seize the moment, as messaging is a great way to see if you get on well with somebody you really won't know if there is a spark till you meet face to face.
Also, what have you to loose by asking, you will know how the other person feels then instead of letting it drag on only to find out that the other person isn't interested. And who knows by meeting you might just find the one . . .

"eternal messaging".....yes, it can turn into something of a "long time, no see" .Personally, I'm of the strike while the iron is hot school of thought.Having spoken to a guy for weeks and weeks, I had an impression made in my head of him, then when I met him, he was nothing like what I imagined!So the next time I'm gonna seize the moment and grab the bull by the horns and all that!Anyway I firmly believe that if someone is meant for you, they will not pass you, there's loads of love out there for everyone, and the best thing is that it will come along when you least expect it!well, thats what i think!Littlemisslaughalot

Ah i dunno now...i think the majority of messaging is done to be polite, most of those exchanging inanties about how was your day or plans for weekend etc...its more of a chore and theres really no spark there. Unless you're gettin on like a house on fire and firing messages back and forth with lots of laughs and getting to know each other questions - but thats pretty rare though! Suppose emailing should be like great conversation - something that grabs your attention, so you're eager to reply, and then you're excited to get the next message because you know its going to be interesting or funny!! Anyway Jill has a point, if you're ever going to get round to meeting up, it'll be arranged pretty quickly after you start talking, within a couple of days, as you're either interested or not!! So if you DO like someone then ask, worst they can do is say no...and i think the longer its left...the more it turns into an email buddy and you're less likely to meet them in real life....Anyway, thats my unrealistic expecations out in the open now - someone interesting and/or funny...well a gal can dream!!
