It's like this, everyone knows how difficult it is to meet a partner these days cos usually in clubs etc they are just after the one thing. So when you try a dating site and pluck up the courage to contact someone it's very disheartening to get the following reply, ya might as well go to the club as usual! "Hi how are you?" "I'm fine thx, maybe a bit horney" or "Grand I went hillwalking today, a good walk makes me horney" I mean to say, what are ya supposed to reply to that?? To me it's a real conversation stopper so I just cut it off, pardon the pun, and hope the next fella has a bit of tact. I always think the nicest way to open conversation is to pick up on similar interests in the person's profile, and ask questions about it. It shows you've taken the time to read someone's profile!
