But I dont think it is always a guarantee that a long term relationship will develop. In the same way I don't think people who are different to each other means that you can't form a long-term relationship. I know of people who are very different to each other and they have managed to form long-term relationships just as successfully as those I know that are similar to each other. I think that there are other factors that contribute to a long-term relationship and on the top of that list lies respect. Showing respect for others means you can be trustworthy and reliable.
